Tall Girl

This is for all my Netflix fans. Tall Girl is kind of like a dark comedy, drama, and sitcom all wrapped into one. It is such a good movie. I would highly recommend this one to teenagers and young adults as well. The main character is the tallest girl she knows standing at 6 foot, something. Her confidence is low because of her height and the fact that many of the kids in school tease and bully her about it. Well, one day a foreign exchange student enrolls at her high school and she falls head over heels for him thinking he'll never even notice her. To her surprise, he not only notices her but likes her. She then starts to wear different clothes, make up, and cool hairstyles to impress him. She actually turns out impressing herself and building her self confidence to new levels. She does not end up with this boy but she ends up with something better: self-esteem. This movie is great at showing us the true meaning of friendship and the importance of accepting ourselves for who we are, not who we want to be. The lead is actually a former dancer from the show "Dance Moms". Coincidentally, she was voted off the show a few years ago because of her height. Her career has reached new HEIGHTS now!!!!!!!!
